Attorney Jeffrey Wicks has been practicing law for more than 30 years. He has been in private practice since 1990 and he opened Wicks Law Firm, PLLC, in 2002. He achieved a landmark appellate court decision in the case of Martinez v. County of Monroe in 2008. The court found that valid marriages of same-sex couples conducted outside New York state must be recognized legally within New York state.
Attorney Charles D. Steinman brings a wealth of experience to his civil litigation practice, including more than 20 years of service in the state attorney general’s office. He has tried hundreds of cases and has pursued appeals up to the New York State Court of Appeals. He has also briefed cases to the United States Supreme Court.
Cheryl Personte began her legal career in 1996 and became a paralegal in 1998. She oversees all administrative areas of the office and works as a paralegal in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, family law and education law.
